Keep your body moving with SAFD's fan favorite, Adult Ballet Fit Class! Taught by Director and Founder, Lisa Hall McKee, this class blends Classical Ballet Barre with fitness elements such as interval training, strength conditioning, and mobility exercises. Inviting ages 18+, This class has helped adults in our community maintain their fitness, increase their mobility, improve their stamina, and reclaim their love of dance!

What level is this class?
This class is open level! We have a wide range of adults from basic beginner to advanced professionals. This class is designed to benefit all levels with modified options for everyone! The instructor, Lisa Hall McKee, provides both a welcoming and supportive environment for our adult dance community!​​
Do I have to have ballet experience to attend?
Everyone is welcome in Adult Ballet Fit! Owner and instructor, Lisa Hall McKee, ensures that the class accommodates everybody, providing modifications for newer students and challenges for the regulars.
What is the attire?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in! We generally recommend wearing something you enjoy moving around/working out in like leggings, stretchy pants and a tshirt or tank top! Make sure to bring flat ballet shoes or a pair of socks for barre.
I took ballet when I was younger, can I jump back in?
Please join us! We have adults of all experiences and movement histories in Adult Ballet Fit. Many of our regulars have returned after taking a long break from their ballet background!
