Youth Program
Ages 8-12
Levels I-IV
At age 8 dancers begin the Level I syllabus in classical ballet, modern and tap. After the completion of Level I, each subsequent level has a dramatic increase both physically and mentally with increased expectations in technical skills and artistic development. Students can begin taking Jazz at age 11.
Level I

All ballet classes begin learning terminology and ballet theory. Dancers may begin taking jazz at age 11.

Level IV
Level IV has a dramatic increase both physically and mentally with increased expectations in technical skills and artistic development.
Students are preparing to enter the pre-professional program. Emphasis is placed on retaining exercises and combinations from class to class while continuing to build individual skills, technique, and terminology. More advanced sequencing of steps is incorporated into each combination.

Level II
In Level II, dancers continue to develop technical skills and learn new terminology. Improvisation and spatial awareness exercises are incorporated into each class. Individual skills are developed and incorporated into combinations and exercises throughout class.

Level III
Level III dancers continue to learn and develop new skills in addition to more advanced variations of skills developed in Levels I and II. Technique, terminology, and artistic development are heavily emphasized throughout each class.
Combinations and exercises are lengthened to develop dancers' ability to retain longer sequences of steps. Moving largely through space and directional changes are incorporated into each class.
